Leadership In Action: The Advanced Art of Leadership
This New Advanced Four-Day Seminar is designed for leaders who
have completed the Art of Leadership (AOL) who want to build their
leadership skills to the next level and to bring Rockwood
practices more fully into their organizations and networks.
Leadership in Action will support participants in a powerful
journey of personal transformation, ultimately creating a new
paradigm for social change leadership.

Key Skills:
Create "personal breakthroughs" to stand as a passionate and genuine leader
Expand "tool box" of perspectives and practices for personal and organizational effectiveness
Increase ability to collaborate and to effectively work across differences and to build teams
Increase awareness of leadership style and impact on others
Improve skills for effective communication and managing difficult conversations
Identify and establish personal habits that support life-long health and sustainability
Create a powerful and effective network of inter-connected social justice leaders
The curriculum includes:
Leadership In Action delivers an intensive seminar in an intimate and highly interactive learning environment limited to 30 participants from around the country.
Each participant will complete a Leadership Styles Assessment Tool to help them identify strengths and areas for development
Participants will be given a workbook, filled with tools and processes to use within their own organization.
Assignments will be given prior to the training.
Peer coaching will be encouraged to provide ongoing support and dialogue for applying concepts learned in the training
